By Digital Bohemians Club

  • White Tower & Katouni Square
  • 28.Feb – 23. June 2025

Pastel Clouds over Hydra, photographed by Belladonna Lagerkvist is currently showing in an Augmented Reality Pop up Exhibition in Thessaloniki, Greece.

THE EXHIBITON

DREAMSCAPES – Between sea, earth and memory as described by Digital Bohemians Club:

Thessaloniki, a city at the crossroads of history, culture, and modernity, becomes the
backdrop for an exhibition that brings dreamscapes, memories, and emotions to life.
Dreamscapes unites artists working with diverse media—from digital visions and abstract
acrylic paintings to AI-generated art. Together, they create a world where water and earth,
light and shadow, past and present merge.

The artworks reflect not only external landscapes but also inner emotional realms. While
some artists draw inspiration from the deep blue and earthy tones of nature, others explore
their ancestral roots and cultural heritage. Emotional depth, identity, and history intertwine in
multilayered compositions that open new perspectives.

  • Dreamscapes is an invitation to dream—a journey through memories, reflections, and
abstract visions. In Thessaloniki, a city suspended between times, art and emotions merge
    into a unique visual experience.

The Art of Rainbow Mosho (USA, born in Athens), Muriel Lherm ( London UNITED KINGDOM), Mostaque Ahmed (Sydney, AUSTRALIA), Belladonna Lagerkvist (FRANCE), Joan Barbosa (COLOMBIA) and Hannelore Leschke (GERMANY) can be seen in the two locations, The White Tower and Katouni Square. Below you can see what its looks like when you use the app Adobe Aero, whilst walking around. If you visit the exhibition, you will be able to not just see it through your screen as you walk around, but see it from different angles, with the Thessalonikian streets in the background.

Here’s a little introduction of the artists.

The same introduction is visible in the second location, the White Tower, by the sea. Depening on the weather and who is around the experience will be different throughout the spring until it closes in early summer.

Taken on a cloudy day, these images reflcets some of the nuances in the artworks. While it may feel strange at first to walk around looking at art through your phone or ipad. The possibilities That Digital Bohemians Club offers with their Augmented Reality Exhibitions aren’t just endless but can be seen as a way to democratise art, making it accessible not just to the public but making exhibiton locations that could previously only be dreamt of accessible to artists. Not only can artists from around the world show their art in new places, the web that Maks and Vanessa weave within their community, invites a global change in how we see possibilities when it comes to showing and experiencing art. With long experiences in the fields of digital art and virtual galleries etc, they have figured out a way to present the benefits of those systems to not only their peers but the not always so tech savy public.

See this and many more exhibitions in the future by following the work of Digital Bohemians via their website and why not have a look on the respective portfolios of the various artists they expose! Thank you for following along this journey!

SPIRITUS Soleil in the Mountains

Blog

My photograph Spiritus Soleil in the Mountains was recently showcased online by the gallery Maison Manpai in Bordeaux, here you can read my manifesto:

I work with holistic creation, wellness rituals, photography and textile art. I collect nature and I go to meet it to create something that is good for me in the moment that would also be beneficial for the person who sees the photographs afterwards, because I want to inspire people to go into nature towards themselves, to come back to something instinctive. In the Spiritus Sun series, I look for the soul of the sun or simply its rays either in nature or in sacred places where it seems to be used in divine settings. I do this by researching what binds us together because I believe that the sun is one of those things in nature, that can unite us all by being not only essential but deeply touching to see no matter our beliefs, our culture or our status in society. Finally, the beauty of nature can be a cliché that seems naïve but that’s precisely what I’m looking for.

Manifeste

Book of Travels vol I – Green

Blog, Book of travels, Nature, Photography, Travel

“In this first “Book of Travels” I selected some of my favourite photographs taken during the last 10 years. I have carefully collected and created photographs looking for similarities around the world using nature as a unifying theme. Forests, lakes, oceans, clouds, trees and flowers around the world fascinate me and I wanted to bring out their similarities in this ode to the colour green.”
